From the iconic anime series Mobile Suit Gundam comes the completely redesigned Real Grade RX-78-2 Gundam Ver. 2.0 from Bandai . This top-of-the-line RG model utilizes a new semi-monocoque-inspired inner frame that lets you experience the construction of the Mobile Suit layer by layer.

The redesigned joint structure reinterprets the moving axes in a new way, allowing the joints to bend more naturally and blend seamlessly into the model's structure. The legs are based on the close-combat style of Gundam and utilize composite body joints that mimic the movement of the human body. Details are also engraved on hidden parts such as the joints and the back surfaces of the parts.

The two-tone white color molding emphasizes the three-dimensionality, and the multi-colored main body includes pre-molded details such as dual eyes, main camera and cheek ducts. The Core Fighter can be converted into a Core Block, and in a special gimmick unique to the RG series, the chest armor covering the cockpit opens up and down.
