AniGen – Shipping Policy
General
AniGen ships orders from our warehouse in Ilomantsi on every business day.
Our goal is to dispatch in-stock items within 24 hours of receiving the order.
The average domestic delivery time is 1–2 business days.
Orders placed before 1:00 PM are usually shipped the same day, except during peak periods such as the Christmas season or after major events.
At this time, we deliver only within Finland, Estonia and Sweden.
Shipping Methods
All orders are shipped as trackable parcels via Posti or Matkahuolto.
AniGen reserves the right to select the shipping method, for example during free-shipping campaigns or for logistical reasons.
If the customer requests “Fragile” handling, an additional fee according to Posti’s current price list will be added to the shipping cost.
Products longer than 60 cm are automatically shipped via Matkahuolto, even if the customer selected Posti at checkout.
Delivery Time and Delays
Delivery time depends on the selected shipping method.
AniGen is not responsible for delays caused by Posti, Matkahuolto, wholesalers, manufacturers, or other circumstances beyond AniGen’s control (e.g., strikes, weather conditions, natural disasters, or government actions).
If a delivery is significantly delayed, the customer has the right to cancel the order in accordance with Finnish consumer protection legislation.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs include postage and packaging.
The final shipping cost is determined at checkout based on the selected shipping method.
Orders over €200 may qualify for free shipping in accordance with campaign terms.
Unclaimed Parcels
An unclaimed parcel is not considered a cancellation.
If a parcel is not collected and is returned to AniGen, the customer will be charged the actual costs incurred for return shipping and possible reshipment.
If an unclaimed parcel is lost or damaged during return transit, AniGen is not responsible for the lost shipment and cannot issue a refund.
Pre-orders
Pre-orders are binding and will be shipped as soon as the product arrives in stock.
Release dates are estimates and may change depending on the manufacturer or importer.
Please note that AniGen does not have real-time stock information from wholesalers or manufacturers.
We may need to cancel an order if the product is out of stock at the wholesaler or manufacturer. In such cases, we will always contact the customer before cancellation.
AniGen is not responsible for actions taken by manufacturers or wholesalers, nor for product cancellations caused by them.
